Hand-cut collage artist Inas Al-soqi
Inas the past 15 years, has focused on a body of hand-cut collages and woodcut prints exploring history as it relates to identity, oral history, and ironic interpretation of class and nobility. The pieces speak directly to the vintage paper, visited exhibitions, and social interactions encountered in travels. The visually intriguing artworks criticize and question how we look at imagery through the lens of storytelling immersed in conversation about identity.
