Inas the past 15 years, has focused on a body of hand-cut collages and woodcut prints exploring history as it relates to identity, oral history, and ironic interpretation of class and nobility. The pieces speak directly to the vintage paper, visited exhibitions, and social interactions encountered in travels. The visually intriguing artworks criticize and question how we look at imagery through the lens of storytelling immersed in conversation about identity.
She is the December artist in residence at Kimonos Art Center. She is an established artist living and working in San Francisco, CA, and an immigrant of Palestinian and Romanian descent.
